St. Charles County Democrat to Challenge Incumbent Blaine Luetkemeyer
ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. - Jonathan (Jon) Karlen today announced he is running to unseat incumbent Republican Blaine Luetkemeyer as U.S. Representative for the Third Congressional District in 2022.

Karlen, a software engineer, resides with his family in O’Fallon, Mo. He is a lifelong Democrat who chose Missouri as home 15 years ago, and knows first-hand the benefits and challenges of raising a family here.
“I see so much good in this state, but it is diluted by ineffective government both at the state level and in representation in the federal government,” Jon said. “I know economic growth can be brought to Missouri with a Representative who works for the people instead of lining his own pockets with dark money from big corporations and banks.”
Karlen aims to serve Missouri’s Third Congressional District by working with and for local residents as one of their own. He will be visiting with local residents across the District to understand their priorities and needs, regardless of how they plan to cast their votes.
“I am a proponent of the social construct: of equal justice for all. I am here to offer a compassionate alternative to the government we’ve grown accustomed to in the District, and I look forward to fighting for the needs of my fellow Missourians as their Representative,” said Karlen.
